Healy Ford was established over seven decades ago by Frank Healy, and was subsequently run by Joe Healy, another member of the Healy family, and a son of Frank, for many, many years. Late into his 60's, with a need for succession, Joe looked for an individual who shared his interests in good service, great communication with the staff, and general interest in the automobile business. Healy Ford was subsequently sold by Joe Healy in 1996 to Mark Hicks,  a local Edmonton businessman with both a strong educational background, and at that time, about twenty years experience working with the automobile industry.  Mark and his family members continue to run Sherwood Ford with many of the traditions that both Frank & Joe Healy believed in, trustworthy relationships, good value and customers forever.  Now based in Sherwood Park, Sherwood Ford has continued to expand its customer base as it now serves all of the greater northern Alberta area with new and used Ford vehicles and is now one of the largest Ford dealerships in Canada.
